Refund policy
Last updated: 2026-08-25 · v2026-08-25
This policy explains how subscription payments to Pronto Sage are cancelled and refunded. The Terms of service govern the subscription itself.
Authoritative language
This document is published in English. The English text is legally authoritative. Any translation is provided for convenience only.
Cancelling
You can cancel a ForkPI subscription at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal, but it does not end the current billing period.
Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and the restaurant keeps serving normally until then.
Cancel from Plan & usage inside ForkPI, from the billing portal linked there, or by writing to [email protected].
When a payment is refunded
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun. We provide a refund in these cases:
- where a refund is required by law, including any statutory cancellation right that applies to you;
- a duplicate charge, or a charge taken in error;
- a material defect in the service that we cannot resolve for you;
- any other case ForkPI or Paddle decides to accept.
If ForkPI stops
If we permanently discontinue a paid service during a period you have already paid for, we refund the unused prepaid portion. That is stated in the Terms of service, and it does not depend on anything on this page.
Asking for a refund
Write to [email protected] with the restaurant name and details of the charge. We respond to every request and explain the decision, including when a refund is declined.
A refund is returned to the payment method that was charged.
Who takes the payment
Subscription payments are processed by Paddle, the Merchant of Record for ForkPI subscriptions. Paddle runs the checkout, issues the invoice, handles the tax, and makes the refund itself.
This policy covers the subscription a restaurant pays ForkPI. It does not cover money a guest pays a restaurant. ForkPI never receives, holds or settles that money, and the restaurant remains responsible for its own guest refunds and chargebacks. The Terms of service say the same thing at more length.
